Brief Design an interactive website to promote films of a director
Tools Adobe Animate | Adobe Photoshop | Adobe Illustrator | Adobe InDesign | HTML and CSS
Process
From information gathering, wireframing, to developing, I built a website to promote Abbas Kiarostami's Koker Film Trilogy using a distinct art style that highlights the storytelling and poetic nature of his three films.
The purpose of this project was to let the film's poetic nature speak for itself, as that was the experience I got from watching them. I challenged myself to visualize and create that same experience for users who navigate this website.
Website prototype

Film 1 - Where is the Friend's Home?

Film 2 - And Life Goes On

Film 3 - Through the Olive Trees

Wireframe
I first drew out the wireframe for the website by hand because I wanted to plan for the scenes of the movie that I will showcase in the site.
The drawings in each page are done in digital watercolor paintings to exemplify the poetic and scenic nature that his films entail.
