Brief  Design an identity system manual for the coffee company Déjà Brew

Process
Déjà Brew wanted to be seen as a premium quality coffee brand that provides coffee delivery services to their customers. I took inspiration from the concept of déjà vu, the feeling of experiencing something familiar again, as the brand's main mark.

This project made me realize that
I can use universal human experiences as a branding element instead of just showing a coffee mug or beans, because drinking good coffee is an experience many of us enjoy (or desperately depend on to survive). I also created alternative marks as the company wanted flexibility in using just the face as the brand's mark. 

Moreover, I included secondary marks using words like 'aroma' or 'citrus' to echo the notes we taste in coffee as part of our experience with the beverage in their branding for their café.
